About Me
Gover is a Chilean musician based in Los Angeles, California 🇺🇸 who left behind a career as a lawyer and former governor to pursue his true passion: music. After battling a tumor and weary of the corrupt and unjust political world, he emigrated from the “end of the world” to Hollywood to start anew. His project, Gover Music, is a fusion of industrial rock and dark aesthetics, marked by his symbol: the X. In this new phase, he is accompanied by musicians Mariano Calleja, Felipe Mc Evoy, and Mike Ili, who lend power and presence to his sound both live and in the studio. Gover combines heavy guitars, modern rhythms, and profound emotion to tell stories of struggle, rebellion, and rebirth.

Gover was formed in 2020 as the natural evolution of the bands Energy and Puma, shaping a darker, heavier, and more contemporary sound.
In 2022, the band released its debut EP Gover 1NO, followed in 2024 by Gover 2WO – Puma, solidifying its identity within modern industrial rock and metal.
Born at the end of the world, the project quickly expanded beyond borders, performing across Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Colombia, building its presence through live shows and a strong sonic vision.
Gover is led by Alonso PerezdeArce (Gover) on vocals and creative direction, alongside Mike Illi, Felipe Mc Evoy, and Mariano Calleja, whose combined energy and musicianship define the band’s powerful sound.
